01

Sail San Diego Bay

Rent a vessel from Harbor Island Yacht Club or Seaforth Boat Rental

Seaforth Boat Rental has three locations in San Diego Bay: Harbor Island, Coronado, and Downtown. For open ocean, I recommend Harbor Island Yacht Club or Seaforth Boat Rental, Harbor Island.

02

Book the boat

Choose a boat that will comfortably accommodate your group. I.e. 3 People, a 22-24 foot boat is comfortable.  5 People, 25 to 32 feet is comfortable. 6 to 8 people, 35 to 45 feet is comfortable. 8-12 People, 45 to 65 feet is comfortable.

Costs of the boat rentals are listed on the Harbor Island Yacht Club and Seaforth Boat Rental websites.

03

When booking the boat, advise them you are hiring Captain Gene O'Neal, USCG Master license #8446814. (Sailing Endorsements)

Self-confidence is the key

Both of the boat rental agencies should have my information in their files. If renting a vessel from anyone else, you should also give them my telephone number for their records.
